The spirit of mambí fighters and Fidel runs through the Cuban people veins

Hurricanes Oscar and Rafael did a lot of damage to Cuba. And if their damages cannot be labeled as catastrophic, it is because our training in facing cataclysms of this type with unity and discipline, well directed by the highest leadership of the country, without avoiding being in places of danger and greater torment, supported by the cadres in various territories, who managed to unite and strengthen even more the forces of the citizenry strengthened in faith and confidence in the Revolution.

Those who chose to attack us with fake news in those moments, and those who carry out the same apostasy by taking advantage and raising the prices of their merchandise now, when the majority of people are a hurricane of spiritual and material solidarity for the victims, have their dirty consciences on their hands. These mercenaries of evil do not care about the pain of the citizenry.

Before, during and after the terrible climatic phenomenon, the people grew, with the workers in the front line: their best qualities blossomed, their heroic deeds, their love for their neighbors vibrated while many groups went to the hardest hit provinces far from their homes.

We are proud of our electric workforce: there were blackouts, but the light of their souls kept shining as always. Also in their trenches, meteorologists, healthcare workers, the Army, Etecsa, students, agricultural workers, hydraulic workers, journalists, artists, scientists, engineers, sportsmen, bankers, retirees… All embraced the strength and learnings of our mambí fighters and Fidel. And with such power we started our recovery process.
