At least 24 Palestinians were killed and dozens injured in the last hours in new Israeli bombings against the Gaza Strip, medical sources reported.

Health authorities in the territory reported six fatalities and 10 wounded in an attack on an apartment in the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood, located in the northern city of Gaza.

Rescue teams warned that the numbers may rise as the debris removal work progresses.

Meanwhile, the official Wafa news agency noted that six other people were killed in a similar incident in the neighborhood of Tal al-Hawa, also in Gaza.

In the central refugee camp of Nuseirat, four bodies of a family, two minors, and their parents were recovered, and several citizens were taken to hospitals with injuries after an Israeli air raid.

Also in Jabalia refugee camp, four deaths were counted in an Israeli bombardment in Al Alami area, and three more, as well as several wounded, in Al Bureij refugee camp, Wafa said.

In the south, the army attacked residential neighborhoods in the cities of Rafah and Khan Yunis, the target of ground offensives which caused serious damage in both localities and the displacement of their inhabitants.

In the latter, a Palestinian was killed by a drone attack while he was riding a bicycle, the news media pointed out.

According to official data, since the beginning of the new cycle of violence on October 7 last year, almost 38,900 Palestinians have lost their lives in the coastal enclave, while more than 89,000 have been wounded.
