Cuban ambassador talks about Fidel with Mongolian university students

Cuban Ambassador to Mongolia, Jorge Ferrer, talked about the life and work of the historical leader of the Cuban Revolution, Fidel Castro Ruz (1926-2016), with students of the National University.
The conversation took place on the occasion of the seventh anniversary of the physical disappearance of the Commander-in-Chief, according to a note from the Cuban embassy in Ulan Bator.
Ferrer gave an overview of the main moments of Fidel’s life and his contribution to the struggle in the Sierra Maestra, the defeat of the mercenary invasion of Playa Giron and the internationalist aid to Angola against the aggression of the apartheid regime.
The diplomat shared published anecdotes from the life of the Cuban leader which reveal his human sensitivity, his charisma, his humor, his political and military sagacity, and his exceptional capacity to foresee the future.
He also highlighted events that earned Fidel the sympathy and eternal gratitude of many people from other countries of the South.
