“About my retirement, no way. I’m going to sing more than ever,” said the vocalist, who is currently on a long world tour with as intense a work schedule as ever.
The Spanish singer, who received the 2013 Guinness World Records certificate for the male Latin artist who has sold the most discs in the world, said: “I’ll keep singing until I die and as long as people want me to sing.”
The categorical denial of Julio Iglesias comes amid rumors that the Madrid native could have his final curtain this year.
“As long as people from Finland to China want me to sing, I’ll continue to appear on stages around the world,” the artist, who has sold more than 300 million discs, said.
He has numerous concerts scheduled for the year 2015 including some in the United States on Feb. 25-26 in the city of Clearwater on the west coast of Florida.
