Lopez Obrador says Cuban politicians in Miami worsen blockade of Cuba

Mexico City, Jul 14 (Prensa Latina) The United States has blocked Cuba for 60 years, but it is Cuban politicians residing in Florida who, in reality, have the island under seige, Mexican President Andrés Manuel López Obrador denounced today.
They are the ones who have it like this even if it is Washington that executes it, because they pressure the government being politicians who do not care that their people suffers, he reiterated in a brief reference to that situation in his morning press conference at the National Palace.
He said these individuals see the issue of the blockade as a political, electoral issue, just like their Texan colleagues do with the Mexican migrants they mistreat and denigrate.
The reference was made by López Obrador when he questioned why a small group of Cubans has such influence over the United States government, who do not represent anything nor anyone, when there are 40 million Mexican migrants living in the United States and they decide with their vote.
I have already repeated it this morning, the mistreatment of our migrants by opportunist, racist and discriminating politicians. He immediately corrected himself and said they are not even politicians.
In previous conferences, including some shortly before leaving for his interview with Joe Biden last Tuesday, López Obrador specifically referred to senators Robert Menéndez, Marcos Rubio and Ted Cruz, staunch enemies of their own country and of their compatriots whom they they want the worst in the world, and questioned the president because he allows himself to be influenced by them.
