Tripadvisor considers Varadero as world´s second-best beach

Varadero, Cuba, Feb 25 (Prensa Latina) The Tripadvisor Travelers Choice 2022 on Friday considered Cuba´s Varadero Resort as the world´s second-best beach.

Varadero Resort, located on the north coast of the western province of Matanzas and 140 kilometers east of Havana, is preceded only by Grace Bay Beach, in the Turks and Caicos Islands.

Tripadvisor´s official website rated the top 25 best beaches, including the shores of Brazil, the Dominican Republic, Costa Rica, the United States, Aruba, Portugal, Italy, Australia, Hawaii, Spain, Cyprus, Greece, Tanzania and Japan.

Varadero is considered as a quite important tourist resort in the Caribbean. It covers 14.4 square kilometers, 21 kilometers of beach (length) and 22-meter sand strip (width).
