Xi and Putin discuss bilateral agenda

Beijing, Feb 4 (Prensa Latina) China's President Xi Jinping and Russia's Vladimir Putin discussed in Beijing this Friday the main points of their bilateral agenda and issues of mutual interest in the regional and international panorama.
According to reports, Xi stated that both neighbors stand as “a reliable pillar” to unite the world in the face of crises, defend equality and practice true multilateralism, in a democratic spirit.
Putin, for his part, said that the Russian companies have prepared new deals to suppply hydrocarbon to China, included a contract to send 10 billion cubic meters of gas per year from the Far East.
The two presidents held talks prior to attending tonight the opening ceremony of the 24th Beijing 2022 Winter Olympic Games.
As a preamble to their meeting, Chinese Foreign Ministers Wang Yi and his Russian counterpart Sergei Lavrov on Thursday outlined the agenda to be discussed by their heads of State.
