Buenos Aires, Feb 4 (Prensa Latina) Former Bolivian President Evo Morales said on Tuesday that it is time for unity, and for the responsible and reflexive vote to recover democracy in his country.
A victim of a coup d'état in November 2019, the former president, who took political asylum in Argentina, lauded the leaders of the Movement toward Socialism (MAS) for their work in choosing the candidates for the upcoming elections.
In a message on his Twitter account, Morales praised that political force that he represents (MAS-IPSP), as the first party to present lists of candidates, he said.
'I appreciate the hard work of our leadership in their creation (of the lists). Perhaps everyone is not satisfied, but it is time for unity, for the responsible and reflexive vote to recover democracy and the homeland,' he stressed.
It was learned on Monday that the MAS had included Evo Morales in its lists as a candidate to the Senate in the May 3 elections.
