New Delhi, Dec 28 (Prensa Latina) India launches its first driverless subway train today, it was announced in this capital.
This fully automated rail service will operate on the magenta line of the Delhi Metro, which connects the capital area of Janakpuri West with the Botanical Garden of the city of Noida, reflected the All India Radio station.
The Delhi Metro Railway Corporation recently completed 18 years of operations. Testing of the new driverless trains began in December 2017, along 20 kilometers.
Automated trains will eliminate the possibility of human error and the corridors in which they will operate were equipped with advanced signaling technology.
