Buenos Aires, Nov 6 (Prensa Latina) Former Argentine soccer player Diego Armando Maradona is still in recovery on Friday after successful surgery to treat a subdural haematoma, a blood clot on the brain, said his personal doctor Leopoldo Luque.
Dr. Leopoldo Luque, who was in charge of the surgery, stressed that Pelusa is currently sedated given an abstinence process.
'Maradona really needs a lot of healthcare. He wants to go home, which is a never-ending story, but he will continue to be hospitalized,' Dr. Luque said, after highlighting an average time of a surgery like this is seven days.
Likewise, Dr. Luque said Diego is accompanied by his family. He is well cared and in good spirits.
On Thursday, Dr. Luque had announced Maradona had confusion episodes associated with a withdrawal condition and the best thing was to do a treatment for this problem.
