Cuba with only six new cases testing positive for Covid-19

As of May 12th, Cuba just reported six new cases testing positive for Covid-19, which is certainly very encouraging. Nonetheless, a call to comply with all preventive measures is being issued by Cuban authorities, as every single day.

• Total number of cases 1810 (+6, 66.7% new, asymptomatic)

• 1326 recovered (+49)

• 396 stable

• 4 serious and 3 critical patients

• 79 deaths (+1)

• 2 evacuated.

• 73,129 #PCR +rapid tests

• 1053 in isolation

• 3156 followed in primary care.

• 9M+ case finding in homes.

• 4.36% case fatality.

• 406 active cases.
