Havana, Cuban officials continue today with the preparation for the general elections on October 2018 and work towards perfecting the electoral register.

As part of the strategies, the Cuban Department of Immigration (DIIE) carries out a consultation process to update the addresses and other data through which voters will exercise their right to vote.

At the same time, it is an advantage for voters to go to the polls in places where they live and are recognized by the community, regardless of their official address, the head of the DIIE, Colonel Mario Méndez, added.
