Cuba's National Hero José Martí represents an imperishable lesson of dignity, assumed by the government and the people of the island in the face of aggressions, said French professor Paul Estrade in Paris.

In an interview with Prensa Latina, on the 125th anniversary of the death of the independence hero, Estrade said that Martí left more than an example, a lesson of moral and ethical conduct, and how to act in a dignified and decent manner.

The Cuban Revolution embodies this Marti's vision, which has helped the people of the island since 1959 to face difficulties and aggressions, insisted the historian and writer, one of the most renowned scholars of the Caribbean nation's Apostle of Independence.

According to Estrade, Jose Marti must be remembered every day as an example of humanity, dignity and a critical attitude towards the world and its inequalities.
