Cuban minister of health takes part in virtual World Health Assembly

The Cuban Minister of Public Health, José Ángel Portal Miranda, participates this Monday in the 73rd World Health Assembly, which is held every year from Geneva.

The on-line event will take place virtually due to the COVID-19 pandemic that is confronting humanity, and the central theme of this year's edition will be the international community's battle against the disease caused by the SARS-CoV-2 virus.

Health authorities present their experiences in this regard, and a declaration of support for the fight against this new disease will be issued.
