Jane Fonda dropped a bombshell revelation that she was sexually abused when she was young.

The 79-year-old Hollywood icon revealed she was raped and sexually abused while discussing feminism and being an activist in an interview with fellow actress Brie Larson for Net-A-Porter.

"To show you the extent to which a patriarchy takes a toll on females; I've been raped, I've been sexually abused as a child and I've been fired because I wouldn't sleep with my boss and I always thought it was my fault;" she explained to the "Room" star. "That I didn't do or say the right thing."

The fitness guru didn't give further detail into the incidents, but used the examples to explain what young girls and women go through all of the time.

"I know young girls who've been raped and didn't even know it was rape. They think, 'It must have been because I said 'no' the wrong way,'" Fonda said.

The "Barbarella" star explained that it took her ages to learn how to say no, unlike Larson who said she already chooses her roles carefully.

"Unlike you, Brie, it took me 60 years to learn how to say no," Fonda said.

"If anyone offered me anything I would say yes. I took parts I wasn't right for and I was taken advantage of. I didn't know how to stand up for myself. Now, I would say, 'No. This is a piece of s--t. I don't like the way you're treating me,' and leave."

Fonda has made a legacy of being a political activist. She's spoken on behalf of women as a proud feminist and also recently rallied against President Trump's Keystone XL and Dakota Access Pipeline orders.

In her earlier days as an actress, she spoke out against the Vietnam war — an issue that she explained first made her realize celebrities have the right to an opinion just as anyone else does.

Fonda was dating record producer Richard Perry since 2009, but the two just recently broke things off. She was previously married to Ted Turner from 1991 to 2001, Tom Hayden from 1973 to 1990 and Roger Vadim from 1965 to 1973.
