The PCC leader gave the proclamation speech in which he ratified that Cuba's defense and economic development are two priorities of equal importance.

On his Twitter account, Diaz-Canel wrote, 'The extraordinary session of the People's Power National Assembly concludes today. We have attended an intense, critical and supporting debate on economic issues. We will follow up on what has been proposed in the Government's working agenda'.
