Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Markos Bolaris meets with Cuban Ambassador Zelmys María Domínguez Cortina

Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Markos Bolaris, on 11 April, received Cuban Ambassador Zelmys María Domínguez Cortina and Metropolitan Archbishop of Central America Athenagoras.

Talks focused on the possibilities and prospects for cooperation between the two countries on the cultural and educational level, as well as on the possibility of cooperation on a level of nautical training, related to which a meeting preceded with Minister of Shipping Fotis Kouvelis.

The Ambassador referred to the possibilities for the establishment and operation of a Theological School of the Greek Orthodox Metropolitanate of Central America in Havana, since former President Fidel Castro has already provided a suitable building for this purpose in central Havana.
